I hope you all had an amazing weekend! Over the weekend I went to the National Art Gallery in Washington, DC. I had to write a paper on one of the new exhibitions for my Art history class.

I was really excited when my professor said we’d have to go to the Art Gallery. I love going to museums. I grew up visiting them often. The National Art Gallery is one of my favorite because the paintings are so intricate and have so much history. The Renaissance Art is so detailed and the European style is what pretty much started the techniques great artist use now. But lets move on to the restaurant where I had brunch, Tryst. It’s a Coffeehouse-Bar-Lounge in D.C. It has such a nice artsy, vintage look. Beautiful photography displayed on the walls and the most important part great food. You all should definitely check it out.
As for my outfit I wanted to go for an edgy look. I chose this black and grey tee and paired it with dark wash skinnies. I added my dramatic, statement necklace, bracelets and booties to give me the edgy look. The leather texture of my coat and clutch complemented my outfit. Finally my red/organy lip color gave my look a pop of color. (Nars in “Olivia“)
Till next time.
